In emergencies, we operate a 24 hour service for people in trouble at the police station. In nearly all cases, your legal assistance will be covered by Legal Aid.
If you do find yourself being investigated for an offence, even if you are not arrested, it is never too early to seek legal advice.
Due to recent changes in the Legal Aid system, Legal Aid in the Magistrates' Court is means and merits tested. We will advise you whether you are eligable for Legal Aid and help you apply. Legal Aid is not means or merits tested in cases which go to the Crown Court.
